Workflow

TissueGnostics (TG) is dedicated to the development of a total solution for the quantitative analysis of single-cell tissue images in situ, and to the development of tools that can serve researchers and assist in the clinical diagnosis of difficult diseases and the screening of drug targets in situ.TG has always been in close contact with the actual needs of the researchers, and has established a wide range of in-depth cooperation with the major scientific research institutes and enterprises in Europe since the beginning of the company. TG has accumulated a wealth of experience in tissue image quantification technology by constantly solving the problems of frontline researchers. TissueFAXS Cytometry technology provides users with a multifaceted solution from imaging to analysis, solving the pain point of difficult to accurately quantify and low confidence in image data, especially tissue images.
TissueFAXS Cytometry technology utilises a fully automated panoramic tissue cell scanning system to create multiple virtual slices containing tens of millions of cellular information. Combined with flow cytometry's information architecture methodology of using a two-dimensional scatter plot for cellular screening and grouping, TissueFAXS Cytometry technology not only obtains quantitative information about the molecular, cellular, and organisational structures of tissues in-situ, but also provides information about the inter-relationships between their spatial locations. interrelationship information on spatial location can be digitised and quantified, and pattern analysis can be performed at the big data level.

TissueFAXS Q+ 2D/ 3D Panoramic Tissue Cell Imaging Quantification System

TissueGnostics offers technical solutions for tissue cell quantification ranging from multi-spectral, high-throughput scanning to tissue cell counting at the tissue level.TG's aim is to bring the single-cell phenotyping methodology from flow cytometry into the tissue environment. The fusion of image analysis software and high quality optical imaging allows TG to build a complete fully automated system from imaging slides/well plates etc. to tissue cell analysis.

The TissueFAXS Q+

The TissueFAXS Q+ 2D/3D multidimensional panoramic tissue imaging quantitative analysis system acquires a large number of high-definition image samples at the histological level on a confocal plane. Starting from a panoramic imaging perspective, the system can obtain comprehensive data analysis results for the entire sample, including individual cells, specific structures, and spatial relationships. It supports panoramic scanning with objectives ranging from 2.5X to 100X oil immersion.
Traditional confocal devices are typically used for imaging specific cell structures or protein molecular markers stained within a single field of view but are unable to provide spatial location information of cells or specific structures across an entire slide. The TissueFAXS Q+ 2D/3D multidimensional panoramic tissue imaging quantitative analysis system, based on immunohistochemical staining techniques and panoramic stitching scanning imaging technology, effectively resolves the aforementioned issues, including the effect of weak photobleaching.

Application

  • Prescription / Oncology

The TissueFAXS system not only allows for the delineation of tumour regions, non-tumour regions, but even stratification to differentiate specific tissue ranges. On the basis of identifying the tumour epithelium of colorectal cancer samples, the system divides the mesenchyme into different layers according to the distance relationship between mesenchyme and tumour. The distribution pattern of Treg cells in the mesenchyme and the correlation between their functional status and distribution are then counted. The further refinement of the tumour microenvironment analysis was achieved.

Specific neuronal quantitative analysis solutions, using morphological identification methods, can identify neuronal cell bodies and protrusions in many different sample types (HE, IHC, IF, etc.). The size, length, and number of branches of cell bodies and protrusions are identified and quantified in immunohistochemical samples according to the differences in neuronal appearance between different functions and regions, and unipolar/multi-level neurons are distinguished according to different functions and regions. It is also possible to identify and quantify the number of contacts between different neuronal protrusions, by using the spatial location information of neuronal cell bodies and nerve protrusions.

The use of multicolour technology to mark different lymphocytes is a common method to study the immune status of the tumour microenvironment. With TissueFAXS, we can quantify the nuclear, plasma and membrane colouration of each cell in tissue sections, and use scatter plots to link with the original images to determine the co-expression of multiple markers and easily classify the cell phenotype.

Using specific nucleic acid fluorescent probes and immunofluorescence technology to label relevant proteins and nucleic acids, we can not only accurately quantify the number and location of viruses in and out of the cell from the images, but also establish a standard for quantifying viral loads that can be judged by the naked eye, and at the same time analyse the process of viral invasion and the spatial relationship between the virus proliferation and the tissues!
