HistoQuest (HQ) is a software solution for the automatic statistical analysis of nuclear/plasmid/membrane specific staining signals of different types of cells for bright field samples to meet the needs of researchers for the automatic identification and accurate quantification of single cells in situ in tissue, based on the staining of the samples and the morphological characteristics of the cells. HQ can accurately find and analyse differences between different experimental groups based on sample staining and cell morphology.
HQ adopts a streamlined operation mode of sample batch import + one-click analysis, which gives the preliminary analysis data first, and then the researcher can adjust the parameter thresholds according to the data results by using the scatter plot forward and backward retrospective tool to address the sample variability. This analysis process of repeated data-image verification, rooted in the powerful image computing capability of the software, instantly obtains the big data information contained in the sample slices, and ultimately guides the researcher to obtain the data results that accurately reflect the real situation of the samples.
