Both TissueFAXS ortho and TissueFAXS i inverted systems are equipped with multi-mode scanning software, adopting a panoramic scanning mode with full automation, which is suitable for acquiring images of various types of samples, such as standard tissue sections, extra-large tissue sections, cell crawls, cell culture flasks, microtiter plates and so on. During the scanning process, the optional intelligent/manual acquisition of the whole sample focusing plane, support for real-time regional re-acquisition, as well as scanning file database management and other functions can meet the scanning needs of Z-stack scanning, extended focusing, seamless stitching of oversized images, and bright-field fluorescence shadow correction.
